A SCOTTISH LUNCH HAVEN IN HYDE SQUARE

The Haven, Boston's only Scottish restaurant, is delighted to announce it is opening for lunch seven days a week starting in March providing Hyde Square with a delicious, fresh option during the day.

Chef Wax has developed a menu that offers Salads, traditional Scottish soups and starters, and five sandwiches on bread from Fornax bakery in Roslindale.

The Haven is the perfect spot for a quick bite or a leisurely stop over, offering free wifi, a cosy atmosphere and first rate cuisine. 

If you have time or inclination you might also want to savour a Scottish beer - The Haven has the widest selection of Scottish beers in America.

We will also be offering takeout in addition to table service.

The hours of operation for lunch will be 11.30 - 2pm Monday to Friday. 

Opened in July 2010, The Haven has quickly established itself as a destination dining spot in Boston with it's unique take on Scottish cuisine. Boston Magazine naming it in the Top 50 restaurants, a Weekly Dig award for Best late night menu and features throughout Scotland's national press.

HAGGIS

Better than Linguica, more elusive than Morcilla, tastier than the generic Irish banger.....We just LOVE HAGGIS at THE HAVEN.

We serve ours with Kohlrabi, which is a more interesting Turnip.

Ok, so it's not quite the traditional dish Rabbie Burns waxed lyrical about we reckoned it was about time for a change anyway.

We add a little Drambuie to the butter and drizzle it over the Haggis. Delicious.
